Sweet Valley Ranch Gives Back! 

Sweet Valley Ranch will partner with a local charity and give them a portion of the proceeds from our concession sales. Sweet Valley Ranch guarantees that the charity will receive at least $500 for each day. In addition, Fred Surgeon & his wife will match the amount up to $1,000

Surgeon & Associates, Inc. has established the David Surgeon Jr. Scholarship in memory of Fred Surgeon's father. Employees of Sweet Valley Ranch (including all Surgeon & Associates affiliated companies staff) employees will be eligible to receive a $2,500 scholarship to further their education.  We are allocating a total of $20,000 for 2022. Sweet Valley Ranch Gives Back has partnered with the following organizations:


Fayetteville Area Habitat for Humanity: $4,000

Fayetteville Area Operation Inasmuch: $2,000

Total donations to date $6,000.

If you are interested in your organization being considered please email svrgivesback@surgeon-associates.com the organization name, contact person, phone number and a brief statement on why we should partner with your organization. A representative will contact you within 3 business days.  

Eligibility Requirements for the Sweet Valley Ranch Gives Back Program

1. Organization must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and provide supporting documentation.

2. Organization must provide services within Cumberland County.

3. Organization must provide information explaining services provided in Cumberland County for the previous calendar year to current date.

4. Organization must provide a minimum of two representatives to work in the Sweet Valley Ranch Gives Back food trailer on the assigned dates. The representatives must attend a mandatory 2-hour training session. This training will cover the operation of the POS system and food preparation.

5. The organization must allow Surgeon & Associates, Inc. and Sweet Valley Ranch to use pictures, it’s logo, and other information about the organization on its website. This includes print materials, radio commercials and television commercials.

6. Organization is allowed to participate in the Sweet Valley Ranch Gives Back program up to three times in the same calendar year. However, the organization is only allowed to participate two consecutive days within the same month.

7. Organization must seek approval from Sweet Valley Ranch to distribute information onsite.

8. Organization agrees to attend a check presentation ceremony in Fayetteville

David Surgeon Jr. was a Biology teacher for more than 35 years in Greensboro, NC. He always stressed the importance of receiving a good education.
